 Post subject: Why no answer about my problem?

I posted this query (below) over a week ago. It has had over 40 views but one one wants to offer a solution. Is there no solution? I assume FDM works for others but I can't get it to function for me.
All I want to do is download a series or RAR files.

Can anyone offer me a solution?

New user question.
This should be obvious to me but it isn't.

When I call up the "add download" dialog box and enter a url such as
http://hotfile.com/dl/8073847/52a23a2.part01.rar.html
and all I get is the HTML file Not the .RAR file I need.

Any help would be appreciated for this newbie.

Add downloads via browser monitoring only and use the latest build of FDM (871 now).
Also only Internet Explorer and Firefox are fully supported.

Where did you find build 871? The latest build I can find is 848. :?
