An indie game with one developer, Singularity FPS is a game by a gamer, for gamers. Frustrated with the same old stuff coming out generation after generation, with the only difference being better graphics, this is a game that is truly different. For example, to capture the enemy's flag, you must somehow propel yourself into the air and through your team's giant basketball hoop. Cars can all hop. And fly with a wings powerup. And they all have guns mounted. And drive on walls. And ceilings.
Singularity FPS also features crazy weapons including: unlimited ammo--always. Bouncy lasers. Bouncy laser shotguns. Toad guns. Alternate fire with different size/speeds of toads. Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle alt fires as a grenade launcher. Shotgun has a Super Spread Shotgun alternate fire.
Oh yeah, jetpacks. And not those pansy assed jetpacks like in most games, these suckers really send you flying! Airplanes are arcade style (you can fly backwards if you really want) and very, very tough.
A crazy take on battlefield style games in insane environments thanks to revolutionary new polysoup collision technology. For example, one level is entirely within a giant letter S. Also a satanic kitchen, a giant terrarium, a funky bathroom, as well as the requisite kid's room.
Singularity FPS doesn't use shaders, but it does user polysoup collision--you'll want at least a Core2 cpu and a video card with 512Mb of dedicated memory.
