Awesome. 2006-10-27
I wanted to convert my site to from shift_jis encoding to utf-8 encoding and didnt fancy the prospect of opening each .html file individually and using the 'save as' function of notepad to change the encoding. I found Unifier which did a good job but cost $16 and Kaboom which is free. Kaboom does a great job. I drag and drop the files .html files and drop them on kaboom then just set the options i want and its all done in one go. Great. I would have liked it if i could drop a folder and have all its suboflders selected to but this doesnt seam to be an option so it is the contents of one folder at a time. But still Kaboom is saving me loads of time so the least i could give it was a review. The name Kaboom is a bit scary though. I feel a bit aprehensive about downloading something called Kaboom. Kaboom!! ha! ha! there goes your PC. It Works great. Cheers
