Mp3 Filter is designed to find duplicates in your music collection, wherever your collection is: Hard drives, Multiple Mp3 CDs, anything. The file comparison process, which basically compare filename's words between them, is completely customizable. Mp3 Filter also have tons of other features:

* Supports MP3, WMA, OGG, M4A/M4P (iTunes format).
* Easy to use profile creation wizard.
* Extremely customizable comparing session with possibilities to:
o Compare files using filename, ID3 Tag or the content of the file itself!
o Set the minimum number of words in file to even be included in comparison.
o Exclude files matching specific patterns, like "REMIX" or "LIVE".
o Changing the file priority criteria.
o Priorize files from specific directories in comparison.
o Priorize an extension over another (Example: Make Mp3 files worth more than WMA files).
o Make similar words match (Example: "jack" and "jacks")
* Extremely customizable scan results:
o Manually change the weight of any file, anytime.
o Use the detailed view to compare every aspect of a duplicate before you delete it.
o The results are locked. Thus you can't delete the duplicate and the reference. You don't have to worry about tearing off your hairs because bad mouse clicks.
* Scan a CD and copy only files you don't already have.
* Create a virtual representation of your whole CD collection, and scan it as if every CD was in your drive at the same time.
* Ban unwanted music files from your collection (like "britney spears" files)
