Twin Files Finder helps to find duplicate files cluttering your hard drives, reducing storage capacity and negatively impacting performance of your system. Search can be performed simultaneously in local or network folders. Search criteria include file name pattern, file size and file attributes. File name mask can be specified with use of regular expressions what allow for very flexible searches. Using search results you can review files stored on your hard drives, better organize them and recover disk space. Program has predefined search profiles for most common searches: document files, audio files and image files as well. Many other search profiles van be defined by the user and stored for future use. Program can find true duplicates (files that are identical regardless of there name or extension) or files with identical names. To find out if files are identical program calculates strong 64-bit checksum (CRC64). Additionally to CRC verification program can compare selected files byte-by-byte. Found files can be conveniently preview in variety of formats: as text, html/xml, binary file or as an image). Search result can be saved for future reference (they can be reloaded at later time), they can be printed or shown in HTML format. Program easily integrates with third party file comparers. It has simple and intuitive user interface. Trial version has no limitation and provides exact functionality as registered copy.
