Alf is a highly-customizable flash character which you can put on any website. It accepts input from the keyboard and responds in a human voice (optionally your own) with seamless lip synchronization. Its input/output patterns are easily programmed in a simple syntax called Nascent Artificial Intelligence. Alf can be Jessica the saleslady, Ronald the teacher, Cathy the site guide, Erwin the troubadour or any other implementation you can think of.
