Custom Skin Clock is a beautiful free tool to help you keep track of time.
To manage the clock, you need to right click it. But for the frame, which is golden in color, all other parts of the clock are customizable. To begin with, users can set any picture as a background adjusting its size and position. Moreover, users can determine the color of each hand together with the font and the color of the numbers.
What comes to the settings, they are the basic ones: users can choose opacity, scaling and the position of the clock on the desktop. If you do not want your clock to be on the desktop permanently, you can minimize it to tray. We do not find this option quite reasonable, though, because if you need pure time, the built-in Windows clock in the tray is always at hand. The aim of Custom Skin Clock, on the contrary, is first of all to serve as a decoration, as we see it.
So, Custom Skin Clock is a nice way to decorate your desktop and to follow the time. Although the software is far from being sophisticated, users can create real masterpieces, provided they have good taste. |
