Chinese Symbol Studio is an interesting program that will let you translate English words into Chinese writing symbols.
This program has a handy interface and is very easy to use. All you need to do is just open the 'Translation' tab, enter the English text, click the 'Go' button and you will see the text translated into Chinese symbols, moreover, you will be able to learn the way the symbols are pronounced. Further you will be able to adjust the symbols the way you want; it is possible to change the style of the symbols (3 styles are available), the color of the font and of the background. Also this program allows you to apply different effects to the symbols, you can make them outlined, rotate them and make them more transparent. Such features as 'Blur', 'Noise', 'Shadow' and 'Spray' are also available.
To start with you may try some symbols from the built-in Library of symbols which has 12 sections, including female and male names, numbers, animals, Chinese zodiac and so on. Also you may use the 'Insert text' function and instead of the symbols you will get a desirable word/sentence with the applied effects. The symbols(text) may be saved in .png, .bmp and .eps formats or printed.
This program is shareware but you can download a 25-days trial version that has noticeable limitations: the translation option is unavailable, you can only use the Library of symbols and the images of symbols are saved with a watermark. |
