Editor review of Quick File Duplicator Personal Edition |
2007-11-01 |
Quick File Duplicator is designed to perform batch duplication of any files in a matter of seconds. All you have to do is to determine the file, the number of duplicates and the folder to which the duplicates will be saved. Even despite its absolute operational simplicity, the program features a tutorial that will guide you through the short and easy process of creating duplicates.
The full version of the program, as the developers claim, enables you to create thousands of duplicates of many files at once. However, we can hardly imagine what purpose such a great quantity of duplicated files can serve.
What seems to be an upside of the program is its "Undo" option which allows users to delete the recently created duplicates. Yet, it is definitely disappointing that this option becomes inaccessible after deleting the original file from the list of files to duplicate. This means that if you create a hundred of duplicates and close the program window by mistake, you will have to delete all of them manually.
Overall, the software is easy to work with, but if you don't need to perform large-scale batch duplications, the simple Copy-Paste operation will suffice. |
