Editor review of Morz Image Converter
Morz Image Converter is a handy image converter, which integrates into Windows Explorer's context menu, thus relieving you from the cumbersome process of browsing for source files from within the program's interface. After you pick one or several image files in Explorer and execute the 'Convert image(s)' context menu item, you will see the program's only window, wherein you get to choose the target format from a total of 12, some of them being BMP, JPG, JPEG2000, GIF, PSD, ICO, and even PDF and PostScript. Then, you set the desired quality of conversion (in per cent) and just press the 'Convert' button to start processing the images. The whole process is quite fast on the whole, and after two or three consecutive conversions you already begin to realise that you are saving yourself a great deal of time with this program.
Besides actually converting files, you can also change their destination folder and set a renaming pattern to distinguish converted files from original ones easily later on. It is a pity though that the program does not process non-image files, and thus cannot be used as a batch renamer/copier.
