It's glad that you are working on it
Though I have used FDM for only 1 - 2 years, I have heard of it for almost 10 years
So I don't want this long history project end

There is such a thing called development and release. They have to take time off to recreated or update the software to a newer version and thus sometimes they don't make a new release and one must remember this is a free software not a paid software as well. So that means they have other projects to work on as well besides this one. Doesn't mean they are putting this on back burners but software programing takes times to create, test, and then publish for the rest of us to download and use. So we should all be grateful for this free downloader software they created for the mass to use and provide feedback to help their next development and release. Even I doubt it will ever end the internet first had to end before FDM will end and at this point in time I doubt either those will come to pass. The internet drives software development and FDM is a part of it and if it goes my thoughts are there will still be the creators that will create a new FDM to keep the project going. Also I am in no part of FDM but a end user of the FDM program of which I must say was found all by chance after using various other downloader programs.
