FDM disabling browser integration
FDM disabling browser integration
Why disabling "Browser monitoring" on the system tray icon´s menu doesn´t work when using Mozilla Firefox? Are there any fast way to disable browser integration so I haven´t to go to FDM options and remove the tick there from Browser monitoring - Firefox?
Other issue is about spyware. This is from download.com:
"Nothing Is Free (Includes NavHelper spyware)"
Everybody else might say it dosent have spyware but I just scanned it with my webroot spy sweeper and it comes with the NavHelper spyware which I had to go and delete manualy because spy sweeper couldnt. Conclusion-Download this program but nothing comes free you have to pay some cost.."
I didn´t find any spyware causing FDM. Why some people says FDM contains spy?

disabling FDM
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is what you want, but if you download the flashgot extension ( http:///www.flashgot.net). When you click a link FF will ask you whether you want to download a file using FDM or the standard FF download method... hope this is of a help?

Ya, I am using Flashgot already, but I would prefer that I would have function to always use underlying download manager to handle downloads. Now I have to either alt-click or select flashgot on appearing dialog. Therefore it would be nice that "browser monitoring" disabling would work, because I don´t always want to use any other download manager than Firefox´s own.
