Important, FTP passwords

In the FDM's address bar when browsing a FTP server it displays both the user name and password. Needless to say this is a serious problem. Also I find it hard to understand why on the properties of a site/FTP in Site Manager it hides the password while blatantly displaying it in the address while browsing.
