Firefox Extension would be nice

A Firefox extension would be nice. An opensource downloader called TrueDownloader uses this idea quite well, in the options you just select firefox integration and it installs an extension into Firefox.

This adds the option Download with TrueDownloader in the save file dialogue box. http://francis.dupont.free.fr/truedownloader/
I'd actually be using it now if it were not for the fact it corrupts half the downloads I want, go figure.

But anyway have a think about the download extension.

Ah, I was thinking that the integration was not that good, as I was on the acrobat web site clicking on the file link and freedownloadmanager was no where to be seen taking over the download

Just tried it on another site and it took over the download, so might want to disregard what I said earlier

Solved! Its called "FlashGot"

There is already a Firefox extension for FDM.
I use it to Right click -> Download with FDM

Also, this extension intercep Firefox downloads!
